Blue Heritage Plaques from Buckhurst Hill Parish Council
Blue Heritage Plaques are popping up around Buckhurst Hill Parish Council bringing a real sense of history and intrigue.
A blue plaque is a permanent sign installed in a public place to commemorate a link between that location and a famous person, event, or former building on the site, serving as a historical marker.
We are actively installing blue plaques to create a real sense of history across the Parish. The Council also has a real desire to open up aspects of Buckhurst Hill’s heritage and make it better known and valued.
The Council welcomes new applications for plaques, please contact us at [email protected]
